Kasim Sultan was one of my biggest influences.    He was my idol.

I'll have to take a look at these later Dave - Rundgren was a big feature of my youth - he played at knebworth 1979 - also Led Zep's last UK concert - and blew me away - since then I've listened to 'Ra' at least every couple of months. I love kasim's solo on Singring and the Glass Guitar  - understated but perfect.
