Hi Mica, I have ordered a MK 4 Signature in Buckeye Burl. Is this started ?

Generally a Factory to Customer thread is started at or near the time your instrument construction begins. The thread is created by the folks Alembic. This is the best indication that work has started on your bass.

Suresh - welcome to the club.
Your best option for getting information on the bass that you ordered would be to contact the company directly.
 
The people that are building you bass do not always read every posting on this web page.
