Last night I was listening to some Tuck Andress, of Tuck & Patti fame.  I just ran a youtube search and here he is playing Europa (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtljYur4_T8).  I like his playing.

The guy can play.  I had never really listened to him before.  There's a tune on his solo album where he goes through a bunch of different styles that's just very impressive.
 
After listening to him the other night, I went downstairs to practice some and was struck by how rudimentary my stuff was compared to what I had just been listening to.
 
However, he is inspirational in that listening to him makes me want to explore new approaches to the instrument.

How had I never heard of this cat??  He seriously gots some chops!  Thanks, Dave.
