Title: Sounds of Alembics
Post by: jazzyvee on December 16, 2007, 10:12:13 AM
Here is a web site i found with soundclips of a variety of basses including Alembics.

I know a few members have asked about having such a resource on here but I guess there is no harm in adding your bass soundclips to this site.

They are keen to avoid copyright issues so they are strict in what  the soundclips can contain.

The player doing the Alembic examples TheBass is a member here.

Check out this really nice groove (http://bass.qolume.ch/files/TheBass_Alembic_Persuader_Slap.mp3) he lays down as his slap example on his Persuader.

Here (http://bass.qolume.ch/files/TheBass_Alembic_Mark_King_Slap.mp3) is the same groove on his MK Sig (with D-G-C-F tuning).

And here (http://bass.qolume.ch/files/TheBass_Alembic_Elan_Slap.mp3) it is on his Elan.

That is realy cool!

The Alembics (of course) sound far superior to anything else on offer, but its a fun site all the same

...and here http://www.wernerwitzel.de/audio/01-BassicsOne.mp3 (http://www.wernerwitzel.de/audio/01-BassicsOne.mp3) you can find the same MK playing all voices in a multi track sound sample.
