My kids got me a bass clef mug and a cool bass t-shirt, but I think you'll agree that this gift from my wife is one of the coolest bass-related gifts of all.......

Works great for Swing? ;)

Nice!
All I want for Christmas is my name to appear in the factory to customer section sooner rather than later. :-)

I've still no idea what that is. Any hints?

That's really cool! I'd almost trade my Scotty Cameron for it! Well, maybe. Hey, James, where'd she find that? Maybe I could get one in Maple and purpleheart with an Ebony Stringer
Enjoy!! Mike, tho
-

Nice colour Keavin. matches your tailights ;-)

Graeme and John, I thought you guys would get it right away, being from the birthplace of the game! Maybe if I can get over there sometime we can hook up at the Old Course at St. Andrews!! Or at least to check out Big Tuna or something!
Have fun, Mike, tho

I'm an ex-pat Englishman Mike and the last time I played golf, i was using my dad's old steel putter around 1979. I had no idea there were golf club manufacturers with the woodworking skills of the Alembic Elves ;-)
Anytime you're planning a trip over let us know and we'll sort something out.

Hey Mike, Im ashamed to say it but I live beside one of the nicest golf courses (loch lomond a two minute drive away) and dont even play!
Absolutely stunning scenery over here..would be amazing to play golf in such a setting!
-
Absolutely right John. When I played, my folks took me to some of the courses around Aviemore - Boat of Garten or Nethybridge springs to mind and they were more like strenuous hillwalks than golf courses ;-)

I can relate to that Graeme! I dont play golf but thoroughly enjoy exploring the many Hills and monroes of this magical country!
Strenuous is a word that perfectly describes many an ascention..but wow, it is always worth the effort!
-
Strenuous indeed in this country and always worth it! You may not believe this but, inspite of my physique I'm actually a climber and mountaineer and easier access to the highlands was one of my main reasons for moving up here. Even in bad weather I don't think I've had a bad day in the hills.

Thats fantastic Graeme! Im not exactly a lightweight but have never found it to be too much of a disadvantage when getting out there!! Its all about pacing yourself and enjoying the journey I find!
A fear of heights restricts me to being a hillwalker as opposed to a climber, but I greatly admire those who do partake!
I have to agree about the weather, in fact I would much rather get out to the hills in the winter (especially if there is snow lying!)
I think that the UK/Scotland has so many problems on many levels now. Without wishing to be political or anything (too deep..its Xmas!) things really seem to be on the slide and so many aspects of life here are being eroded away. Its nice to just get outdoors and escape it all for a while!
I am a very lucky man, its all on my doorstep!
-
Well, given that my photography typically sucks AND this time I was using a camera phone, I can understand why it took a while for some of you to see that it is a putter.
My neighbor down the street makes custom golf clubs. I knew I was getting a putter, because he measured my stance and putting stroke, but I had no idea what it would look like. Needless to say I was totally bowled over.
Peace,
James

Golf clubs made out of WOOD! Whodathunkit! Who knows what they'll think of next!
Looks very cool.

Hey James,
It is indeed a fantastic putter!
Why not commission the good folks at Alembic to custom build the rest of the set..just think, an Alembic set of golf clubs!
You would be the envy of your buddies
