I have a bt-350 crate bass head running a 8-ohm black widow 15 cab at 250 watts. I have all the low and mids you could ask for. I want to added a 4-10 cab at 8-ohm to get to a 4-ohm 350 watts rms. will this kill my vol at 175-175 rms ? I need some higher notes to get out of muddy sounds.

actually you'll get everything the amp has to offer @ 4ohms including extra highs!.....im currently running two bag-end cabs w/JBL 15's @300 watts rms!/Gallien-Kreuger Amp.i personally prefer 15's over 12's.. (http://club.alembic.com/Images/449/48111.jpg)

Here's the manual (http://www.crateamps.com/pdf/manuals/BT350.pdf target=_blank) - check pages 6 and 8.
You cannot run an 8 ohm cab with a 4 ohm cab on the speaker outputs, because the total load is in parallel, and those two cabs in parallel are less than 3 ohms, whereas the amp needs 4 ohms - anything below that will fry up the amp.
The bi-amp option lets you use the BT350 as the power amp for either the high or the low frequencies, and you need a separate power amp for the other part - it's all explained on page 8.
