Some time back, I was doing a search on Doomtree and found another band with the same name.  Is that the reason for the change?

We had the name first (2001) with the .com etc. We registered with the govt. we sent the other folk a cease and desist via our real lawyer. The govt.  kicked it out of the system and in the interim a not very accomplished rap collective registered theirs. So our real lawyer costs too much to continue pursuing this issue with their lawyer who can't spell or compose a letter using correct grammar. So now we are called something else. The money will go to a better use.
