Was cleaning out the parents place, and found a box full of old transistors and diodes that probably date back to the 70's but look unused. If anyone is into that kind of stuff let me know....
-
sounds interesting...any specifics?
cheers,

Good for anyone building their own fuzz units, germanium or silicon are supposed to give the dirtiest sound as opposed to IC chips.
-
Dont have any specifcs. My Dad was kind of a collector and tinkerer, and was always bringing stuff home. One package is from radio shack, the rest look like they are things he broght from home from work.
there is one package of germanium diodes.
I really do not know anything about these types of things unfortunately, so cant give any specifics.
