Title: Tribute - set p/u's for higher output
Post by: jx2638 on February 15, 2008, 07:02:59 AM
I read that the Tribute pickups can be adjusted to boost gain.  Can this be used as a means to boost output on a lead?  Meaning...if adjusted correctly, can you throw to the adjusted/boosted pickup prior to lead and get that added gain?

Each pickup on the Tribute has it's own internal trim pot.  You could certainly set a particular pickup, the bridge pickup for example, a a higher gain.  Then your volume will jump when you switch to that pickup.

Thanks Bill...how do you make that adjustment to the trim pot?
Appreciate the help as I'm just wetting my feet.
