Level 42 @ The Sage Gateshead on 6th Oct..a great gig, all the old tunes..right back to the first album in 1981.
Got back plate signed by the man himself

How was the sound?  Hopefully they had Mark's bass clear and well seated in the mix.

davehouck..the sound was great, the SAge has it's own PA which is matched to the hall..all calculated etc.
Everything was well balanced and it was as if you were listening to the band on a quality hi fi in your home

Wow; over the years it seems I've been consistently disappointed with how the bass sounds when attending live shows, so the idea of quality hi fi in your home seems quite nice!

Glad you had a good time Terry and very glad the sound was good for you. The last time I saw Level42 in Glasgow they had marks amp way too high and he overpowered the mix all night.
