Title: Anyone knows "ButtKicker" vibration monitor system ?
Post by: room037 on November 06, 2010, 08:10:22 PM
Hi,

I am looking for better monitoring system on stage or in my room.
We know Body sonic system is useful for low frequency feelings.
But personal purpose items are fitted for home theater or games.
Another way,  TecAmp (http://www.tec-amp.com/index.php?id=121) makes such vibration monitor system.
I touched it, but not satisfied. Because I can't feel enough vibration by my feet. And it's own size.
I heard, it's better by sitting on the board. from inventor of Body Sonic system.

Then I found ButtKicker on Mike Portnoy's (ex-drummer of Dream Theater) throne.
They have both way on the board for standing, on the throne for sitting.
Unfortunately these are not available in Japan.
Anyone knows about it ?
How about the feel ?

They have a pretty good punch,
I put one on my throne with the V-drums,
they are built well.

Thank you elwoodblue,

There are good report on the site from Drummer, but bass players.
How about it for a bass guitar ?

I think, it will fit for the Taurus pedal bass too !

The brand I have is Aura,
...sorry I thought it was Buttkicker.

I haven't hooked up the bass to it yet.
