Title: Dusty Hill and Alembic?

Never saw Mr. Hill playing anything but Fender, (and the sheepskin custom), ran across this today while looking up ZZ Top's history.  Clearly an Alembic, but hard to tell much more.  Does anyone know anything more about what he played and when?
