Title: Fans of Britfunk
Post by: terryc on December 08, 2010, 01:46:08 AM
After a long wait from play.com I finally got this album 'Backstreet BritFunk'
If you want to hear some classic late 70's/early 80's funk from some of the unknown but finest funksters from the UK at that time then check this CD out.
It has some of that early slap bass playing that is totally 80's as well as some great dance funk tunes.
It's on ZR records ZeddCD0018 and here is the website link

. . . . we've all gotten real careful about slinging the word 'funk' around here, terry . . . .

Oops..your right there Joey..apologies but this is a real good CD with all that early phased/chorused bass slapping and cheesy DX7/Prophet keyboard sounds
Can you dig it maan!!
