Bowie is the strangest performer; so aloof, then he opens his mouth and it all changes...somehow that dichotomy also translates in his recordings...strange but brilliant and only he can pull it off...

Sounds awesome.  In Heroes does it sound like he is using any kind of effect?

Robert Fripp played on the orginal..he did the part which the violinist is playing.
