I have liked these for some time but went to see them last night at The Stables, Wavenham, Milton Keynes, UK (home of the late Johnny Dankworth  and still Cleo Lane in case anyone abroad doesn't know).  Absolutely stunning, each one brilliant and Elana James on fiddle outstanding.  Lovely old Gibson guitar amp (circa. 1937?) played by Whit Smith and superb double bass slapping by Jake Erwin. Can't rave enough.  They are from Austin, Texas.  Strongly advise checking out if you haven't done already.

Sorry - Lane should be spelt Laine.

You piqued my curiosity about the amp, Gylnn, so I YouTubed them.  I think you're close; I used to have a Gibson BR-1, which was made 1946-49, and Mr. Smith's is definitely older than it.  They play pretty well, too.  Thanks for the tip; I'll be watching for them.

Here's a nice video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jr8My5Uo0gE).  Two tunes; the first is a very good version of a very covered tune, showing off some nice fiddle and guitar work, and nice ensemble playing.  The second tune has some nice guitar work as well.  Good quality video and worth a listen.  And yes, that amp works well for him.
