Title: Funk Influences on Soundcloud
Post by: terryc on March 02, 2012, 02:47:25 AM
Okay I have been threatening to record something for ages.
This was done in one take, no overdubs.
Gear used
MK Signature bass(Pan in the middle, filters fully open, Q's on)
Zoom B2.1u with A5 patch and 8 beat drum pattern
Cubase LE recording software
See how many bass lines you can recognise
http://soundcloud.com/you/tracks (http://soundcloud.com/you/tracks)
I may do a few more
The other two are from rehearsals of current band, recorded with an old Akai 400DS MkII tape recorder

I started listening through my laptop speakers, and was thinking that the tone was really nice; so I plugged it into the stereo.  Really nice tone!
