What? That's horrible. I hope he's OK. What a great player and from all accounts, a great guy.

Confirmed by a friend whose album Brian just played on. He fell at home, broke two vertebrae and is in a back brace. No paralysis. Please send healing prayers.

OW! crap I did that 25 years ago in a fall; 2 vertebrae smushed (at new year's no less, happy 1987!) anyway, since I didn't know you could break your back and walk away from it I didn't go to the Doc for a couple weeks, in fact I kept working as a bike courier...and seeing as I have a stupid pain threshold when he did poke my back I didn't go crazy (except when he poked my SPLIT tailbone) anyway we both got a surprise when I finally went for x-rays about a month after that...anyway, I should have been in a brace and not working and I'm sure he'll heal with a better result than I have...mind you I'm still fine other than constant    discomfort and my Chiropractor has become a good friend...oh, and I make cracking noises stretching in the morning that freak out the girlfriends I've had...they are loud...Tony
