Hey all,
I'm looking for a 2 channel bass DI to make switching back and forth from acoustic to electric bass a bit more smooth, for me AND the sound person.
Does anyone have a fave? I hear EBS has a good one, but it's rather expensive..

I swear by (and so far, never at) my Radial Bassbone. Very flexible. Give it a try.

One AB split box before DI (and pedalboard, too) doesn't fit the task? Some have volume pots to match outputs and are probably cheaper than a stereo DI...

You could investigate THIS:

It has an A/B switch that allows you to select between 2 basses.
Also, the 3 presets can be configured differently for channel A and channel B.
IMO, it's a good value - I paid $270 USD for a new one.

Countryman has a 2 channel 85S. I would definitely consider it a quality and durable product. http://www.countryman.com/store/product.asp?id=114&catid=3 (http://www.countryman.com/store/product.asp?id=114&catid=3)

I really appreciate all the suggestions.
I think I have the problem solved.... In digging around my basement for a DI box I ended up finding the perfect device that I completely forgot I had... A Raven Labs MDB-1. When you have a cluttered basement and a lousy memory it can be a bit like Christmas when I go down there! DOH!
