Hi Alan;

Pickup sizes are here (http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=216).

There is a discussion of pickups here (http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=293).

Grounding.  The pickups are plugged into the pc boards, upon which the pots are mounted.  The control cavity is completely painted with shielding paint.  The pots are grounded to the paint when they are securely attached to the body.

Hope that helps.

If you are looking at this (http://alembic.stores.yahoo.net/jzbtacpic.html)  the pickups are direct replacements for the standard Jazz Bass pickup. They are not the same as the AXY and MXY pickups. The pickups will function the same whether they are installed in a left hand or right hand bass.
