Saw this on uk basschat and thought we may be able to contribute our used strings. I certainly will.

But it's a scheme setup to provide strings to areas of the world that just can't get them.

That's very cool.
I don't change my strings as frequently as I used to, but will certainly remember this next time around.
 
I have 'repurposed' my strings in the past. Most recently I used a few to secure my muffler on my 1993 YJ jeep wrangler. :-D
