The best part of going to a NAMM show is that after you tour the large, professionally produced displays for companies like the Fenders and Peaveys and Yamahas, out in the other parts of the hall is where you find stuff like this, the whole range of 'Gee, I'd have never thought of that / Gee, what the hell were they thinking?' little booths, who obviously came in on a different train . . . . I mean, who wouldn't want metal sax reeds or a powered speaker that drops in your Martin's soundhole ?
I just call all that the 'Left-Handed Strings Department'.
