I had Michaels do the framing for my Dave Stevens' Betty Page prints, and even with the huge discount coupons used, cost me a chunk of change, but they did them museum quality, so worth every cent paid. It looks like they more or less frame a guitar wall hanger, with no front glass, which I would prefer (Hinged front glassed panel). However it does make your works of art look more like what they are - works of art. I got a coupon in the mail for this and it prompted this post. If someone else already covered this, ignore and carry on.

That looks a superb idea. I've seen wall mounted flight cases with perspex( plexiglass) fronts used to mount guitars but this is a much more artistic way of doing it. Pierre-Yves has his basses wall mounted so I would imagine this would be perfect for displaying them as works of art as well as being functional instruments.
I have two that I wall mount in my lounge and this may help blend them into the decor so I will keep my eyes open for some suitable large frames.
If I'm not mistaken Mica has some skills in picture mounting/framing.

Very Kool! I like it. I had a local little frame shop do a large mat and frame of Jack Casady playing 72-001 to hang in my studio on the back wall just behind my console. I also have a lovely Betty Page on the side wall to inspire the talent.
Hey ___ That is a swell coffee table that you have there !

That would make any decor, Wolf; you do let him out for Tuna gigs, though, right?

I like the railroad baggage cart coffee table.
-
Those baggage cart coffee tables are all the rage out here in the upper Midwest at between $700-$1000 (and the more beat up they are the higher the price they fetch). Makes me wonder why I tossed out or sold for little to nothing half the junk I had in my apartment and used as furniture.

Check out this craig's list link. They have taken it to the next level.

I appreciate the art, but it misses the point for most of us; we need stands that take up LESS room to artfully display our collections, not more...Tony
