Title: Venues in Satiago Chile

Seeking advice from the collective knowledge of my fellow Alembicians.  
I am in Satiago Chile.  
Any good jazz venues? Or even an open mike
I am staying in the city

It was over a decade ago when i was last there, but at that time Club de Jazz de Santiago was one of the best places to go in the city. Check on-line first since it was a long time ago and may not even be open any longer.

It's still open I have checked out the website
But my Spanish is limited to ordering 2 beers;)
I will ask someone at the hotel translate for me

Sorry for not being able to help as I would wanted to. I was intended to play on a festival there last October, and at the very last minute we had to cancel due to inconveniences outside our control. Going to Jazz clubs in there and knowing more of the local music scene was precisely one of my plans in Santiago as well.

Slawie , Such an adventure !  Please let me know when you get to California and head for the Mothership. Perhaps I can plan to catch up with you there if that would be OK with everybody .
