Is anyone else having recent problems accessing the topics board when using an Ipad? I have no problems using my desktop (PC) but at least 50% of the time I cannot access via IPad.

I've been having trouble accessing the site today with both my iPad and my desktop.

I suspect there's trouble in server land--the page has been loading VERY slowly for me the last couple of days. I've taken to opening another tab and doing other stuff while I wait.

+1 from Phoenix, AZ using a new Mac Pro.
Normally this machine is lighting fast - but, over the last few days, this page has either opened s - l - o - w - l - y or not at all.

Very slow to open here at work today. (desktop)
Sometimes the i-pad at home bogs.
I blame it on the NSA!
Or Corporate's version of it . . . .

I'm not certain about the cause of the problem at this point, though mention was made early on about a router issue. And this being a small shop, the problem occurred just when staff were away from the shop and when other activities were pressing as well. So, I don't know where we are on this at the moment, other than the fact that the shop does know about and is working on the problem. Hang in there; and remember to always keep a guitar or bass handy to practice on while you wait for the page to load.

This is, BY FAR, the BEST technical support answer I?ve got EVER! And certainly the best tech advice. Keep handy your bass or (and?) guitar while you wait.

Hey; maybe I've got a potential career as a tech support guy in a call center! Do they hire old guys who are technically challenged?
-
It seems to me they hire them all the time! Good luck !

Funny you should mention that, Dave.
It's exactly how I got back into music after a 10 year hiatus.
Back in the modem days (mid-90's) I was waiting for web pages to load on my home computer and I got impatient. While looking around the room for something to do, I spied my long-neglected guitar sitting on its stand.
I picked it up and realized that it wouldn't take too much effort to get my chops back in shape and start playing again.
Goodbye home computer - hello revived musical journey.
Long story short, that computer now sits in the back of a closet because I'm more than occupied with a room full of acoustic and electric guitars and basses.
Thanks slow web pages!
