Title: Can you use the volume knobs on a pickup selector?

if you want to  switch just the knobs, will this work? was thinkin of chaging the pickup selector switch into a knob style.

Yes you can.  As long as you use a knob that fits on a 1/8th inch shaft.  I am not sure if the newer style knobs can fit the 1/8 inch shafts.  The older hat knobs are available for both size shafts.
