Title: This Is My Final Post ... In My Fifth Decade

I joined this forum at the end of my forties.
 
This will be my final post in my fifties.
 
Tomorrow, April 9th, Hugh Hefner and I each advance another year.
 
I'll be 60!  (Holy S**t!)
 
Still younger than Hef.

Have a spectacular 60th Birthday! I hope it is filled with Alembic joy and the dram of your own choosing. 60 is the new 40 as Terry said, and soon to be the new 35.  Good news for all of us!

It's been a great 11 plus years with you here. Hopefully I'll get to the Gathering this year. I wouldn't say no to that fast food burger place we went to on the way to the Mothership last time! I'll even buy you a shake to celebrate your birthday.

Thanks, everyone.  I had a great day.  Funny though, I don't feel any different.  But I got some some wonderful socks and shirts, including a More Cowbell shirt.

Hello Bill ,
                   I have been trying to convince my self that the transition from 59 to 60 for me will be largely perceptional. Just like a sale in a store for $99.99  , rather then $100.00. In other words just a little difference .  IN recent times in many ways I actually seem younger and better.  Furthermore  ,  I would think that the playing of music will also be better at 60 at just a little increment as well .  Congratulations and hopes for 60 more on Earth !
