This past week on Jeopardy one clue was about a statue in New York's Riverside Park of: (the Jeopardy answer = Eleanor Roosevelt). The statue was made by Penelope Jencks who is the mother of the Alembic club's very own Edwin Hurwitz.

I guess I could have put in a couple of links to her and her works. A Google search will give a lot more info about her.

Wow, who knew? Thanks for the heads up!
PS. She's finishing up a trilogy of music related sculptures of Aaron Copland, Leonard Bernstein, and Serge Koussivitsky for Tanglewood.
