Hey all, I thought I'd share a promo video for a new project I've been working on. Some random shots of my new series bass for those interested. Like I said, it's a promo video, so the music is kind of in the background. But we should have some new stuff out soon! Little bit of NSFW language, fair warning.

Don't let that video fool you, Eric is very eloquent and an extremely talented player. I first saw him with McCoy Tyner. You can employ him at a distance from here:

Hey! The looplofts with Eric were recorded at my studio, and they actually just finished a new one a couple weeks ago.

Nice! Are you part of that company? I have some of their loops, but truth be told, I don't even really have time to use them.

Didn't mean any offense.  The jist of my comment was that the final editing of the promo, with Eric saying,hum and ahh was absolutely brilliant.  It adds a depth to the promotional aspect  . . .  answering the unanswerable question of, What does you band sound like?
 
Like Madonna or Steven Segal.

No offense taken here, I thought it was brilliant. But I just didn't want people to think his range was limited to a certain drumming style and comedy. OK, enough fanboyism from me. :-)
 
I guess I just really like good drummers, but that's understandable coming from a bass player.

I don't work for looplofts, but Eric is super involved with my studio and he kind of uses it as a home base when he's in nyc. Same space that's in the video, although we're beginning to move this week.
