I have some ongoing projects to share. For now I had to rest the arms because this rosewood is sooo dang hard ! I've been at it over an hour with 60 and 80 grits and it's maybe two thirds there. I even screwed the radius block to my 1/4 sheet sander, worked great for two minutes, but the plastic threads in the sander heated and failed. I am back to good ol' elbow grease while meditating on playing this soon to be 30" scale 6 string instrument. The neck is a cocobolo ,that's gonna be another workout to carve and sand. The body is a single chunk of mango(pics soon).

I've thought about making it fretless because...the Grain! It's gonna get frets, I'll play it much more.

Sometimes when shaping the profile of an upright fingerboard, particularly for cutting an E bevel, I will use a (handheld) electric planer for the bull-work. Looks like you're beyond that though... pretty piece of treewood you got there!
