Does anybody know about this rackmount signal processor? It has 100 algorhythms, delay, eq etc. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have one...I bought it new in the late '80's from Sam's A** during one of their clearance madness sales for under $300...and it was a $1200MSRP or so unit. It's digital, and 80's digital at that, but it's a pro-grade unit and was decent enough for studio work. I bought it primarily for PA/Live use, but never got much use out of it. My brother used it for his many forays into portable 4-track studio 80's metal a la any Shrapnel-label shred-fest you can name from that era. It's still sitting in my huge Mesa/Boogie shock mount rack case in my storage locker along with my Yamaha SPX-50D digital efector from the same vintage.

To sum, it's no Lexicon, but for what I paid, it was well worth it. You can't possibly be talking about a lot of money here for such and old, obsolete unit, so if the price is right, go for it!

Thank you for the reply; I tried the Roland with my bass rig (QSC 1500, JBL 18 cab, jbl 3way 15 cab, EV b215m)and decided it wasn't for me I thought it had a compressor and sub out; it has neither. Nice clean delays & reverbs tho...-Tom

Yup...that's all it is. It's reverb and delays...all digital. Great for PA use, but that's about it. It was certainly worth the under-three bills I paid for it.
