I remember a while ago someone in SF was selling an electrum that was the small standard body ( bass shape) which had i think a coco bola top and 3 pickups.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to buy it at the time but it's still lodged in my brain. If you are the person who bought it are you interested in selling it to an overseas buyer from England?

beautiful guitar~
If I remember correctly, I think Bill (lbpesq) mentioned he might be selling his Electrum when his custom is finished. I've tried searching for the post, but I'll be darned if I can find it.
Take all of what is written above with a grain of salt- I've been known to be confused on occasion. It might not be Bill, or might not be an Electrum =)

Yes it is a beauty, It reminded me of the Dragon Magic guitar that is in the Gallery.
I have looked for it but can't find it using the search.
I love that shape.

Will you have any spare time next weekend when you're playing Whitby Jazzyvee?

Hi grateful, unfortunately that is not the one I was looking for.
I'm not sure how much time I have up there as we are travelling Saturday sometime and staying overnight to leave Sunday.
We have rehearsal this week so I should get more information.
Cheers

I think Mark was referring to the link where I mentioned I may be putting my Electrum up for sale when my Further is finished. In that case, he is correct. As for the guitar in the above picture, it looks very sweet, but given the shape and number of pickups, I'm not so sure it's an Electrum, or, if it is, it is an Electrum in name only, otherwise sharing little with the Electrum design. I mean, if it has a different shape, different number of pickups, and different electronics, isn't it essentially a different guitar?

Jazzy - was it Spectrum?

That looks like it to me. As I suspected, not an Electrum. It's been over a year, but as I recall I had some interest in this guitar and contacted the seller, but he wanted a very high price. I think it may have gone around ebay a time or two and didn't sell.

yes that is the one.
I'd love to get hold of it for the right price obviously.
