Not sure if you've seen it or not, but Bass Central has a few Balance K 5's

Thanks bro I have seen them but I am tight on funds and would rather go used...

Any standard MK 5 isn't likely to have comfort spacing. If that's important to you, you're going to have to find one that someone else custom ordered or order one yourself. Either that, or find a Europa or Rogue that was ordered with the Balance K body and accept the different electronics.

For what it's worth, beavers MK5 Balance Ks are all ordered with Comfort spacing. However, none of the 5s on his website are left; they're just pictured to help the ordering process. From my recent dealings with him, he has a 5a quilt maple coming in in a couple of months and a coco bolo that's due to be shipped to me sometime this week;-)

Jonno,
I found this while cruising the Los Angeles Craigslist

No picture but I'm sure he would email you one. Studio City is not too far from where I live.

I think this (http://www.mammothmusic.net/Stock%20Mark%20King%20detail.htm) might be the same bass. You can ask when you correspond with him to confirm.

Sorry I didn't get back to you on this sooner, Jonno. It's that day job, thing.
Yes, I would be more than happy to look at this bass for you. Abso-dang-lutely
The link Mica posted hit a home chord with me. I grew up in Thousand Oaks and Instrumental Music was pretty much the only instrument store in town. It would've blown me away to see this bass there.
Let me know if he responded to your email
