Expect shipping to Aus to be about $300 because package size restricts the use of USPS.

Remember that Alembic production must be about 500 instruments each year (15,000 in over 30 years). There just won't be as many second-hand ones on the market as - say - Fenders.

Try here they have loads of alembics in stock, not seen any Elans or Europa's but maybe a used one will appear at some time.

The rogue is almost identical to the europa, just a bit better looking  (just kidding) and alot lighter. It has slightly more versatile electronics than the elan too.

You might check Edwin van Huik's site (http://www.connectionbult.com/bass/instruments.html#Basgitaren target=_blank) - Holland is not too close to Austria, but at least it's on the continent.
