Expect shipping to Aus to be about $300 because package size restricts the use of USPS.

Thanks, but I want to have a clear finish. i like coloured bodys but no coloured necks.
-
Hello? nobody out there with an Elan? What about a EUROPA 5-string?
-
Remember that Alembic production must be about 500 instruments each year (15,000 in over 30 years). There just won't be as many second-hand ones on the market as - say - Fenders.

How about a Rogue 5:

Thanks. The Rogue is not 100% what i\m looking for.I know they are not easy to get,but waiting is HARD!!!! Dreaming about owning an ALEMBIC for about 6 years!

Try here they have loads of alembics in stock, not seen any Elans or Europa's but maybe a used one will appear at some time.

Yeah! I\ve been there 3 times!! Great store but as you said: no Elan\s or Europa\s! They said that they\re hard to get! Must wait!

The rogue is almost identical to the europa, just a bit better looking (just kidding) and alot lighter. It has slightly more versatile electronics than the elan too.

You might check Edwin van Huik's site (http://www.connectionbult.com/bass/instruments.html#Basgitaren target=_blank) - Holland is not too close to Austria, but at least it's on the continent.
