Can anyone tell me what an LBI-4 bass is. Sure LOOKS like an Alembic (see link below) I don't see a power supply anywhere.....
Not a bad buy it now price though.

I emailed the seller. He agreed that is is a series 1 and the power supply would be included. He didn't shed any light on the LBI-4 question.

LBI-4 is the official model number for a Long scale Bass Series I with 4 strings.
I think this may be from a group of basses we made for Guitar Center. About 10 similar basses were made at the same time for their more premier locations.
Backplates look a little funny - like chrome plating is left only on the edge, but it may just be the photo. Those things are like mirrors and extrememly hard to photograph.
