Hey Jesse, welcome.  What is the serial number of your bass?  Good luck with your auction.

Hi Jesse-

As you may see from other threads here, we watched your auction go around last time and mostly agreed that the offers you saw were pretty exceptional.  Are you really looking to get $7000 for this bass as was reported, or was that first auction just a way to see how high people would go?

Hey Jesse.  Out of curiousity, why are you selling the five-string short-scale tenor you just bought a few weeks ago on eBay?  I figured you were going for short-scale, so you were selling the JPJ.  Just curious.

Wow, good luck with that one!  The previous seller was asking $2700 and that bass must have gone around at least five times with no interest.  I made the mistake of suggesting to that seller that maybe his price was a bit high if it had gone around so many times with no interest, and that he might try a lower starting bid while keeping the high reserve just to see what the market was willing to pay.  I don't think he had any outright lies in his description, but he did push the limits.  I vaguely remember something about the custom lack of neck inlays to provide that very clean look and no distractions on an Essence that doesn't come with any to begin with.
