Title: For Sale - Series II gold top (and gold headstock) with LEDs!
Post by: webb on October 03, 2004, 04:49:34 PM
I bought this beautiful series II 4 string Alembic which is constructed from maple, purpleheart, rosewood, mahogany and spalted maple sides (top & front headstock sprayed gold sparkle) with red side LEDS and Front facing amber LEDs for use in my band Level 24 (Tribute to Level 42).  I got to use it once live before the band split up.  Since then it has remained in my collection of 30 other basses but won't see any use from me now as I am in another band using a 5 string GB (Bernie Goodfellow bass). This immacualte beauty was made in 1998 and shouldn't age any more without being played.  It's like having a Ferrari and never turning it over!...and that can't be right.  So it's yours for offers over ?3000.00 stirling.  ?3000.01 will be considered a serious offer. Email me at Alan.webb@airbus.com (http://mailto:Alan.webb@airbus.com) for pictures or for an impartial opinion contact US citizen 'Don Z' via the Level 42 Digest website.  Don saw this bass up against my Jaydees, Status basses and Mark King signature Alembic,  at the Level 42 Britfest in 2003. Hear it from Don.

Welcome Al.  I have see that bass somewhere.  Wasn't it on eBay a ways back?  You can post your pictures of it right here by clicking the Upload Attachment - Note:  Pics must be no larger than 150K in size.

What is the serial number on this bass?  Post it here and request a build, and an Alembic staff member will post the build sheet they have on record.  Thanks.  Good luck on your sale.  Note:  3,000 GBP = $5,385.69
