I absolutely LOVE this bass- I've always thought the reversed neck lams look way cool.

I really want it.  BUT the freakin IRS still has me tied up.  Wonder if this guy will take a trade.

That serial number does not correspond with the year 1978.  
 
I have 78-1020.
 
If the serial number 2001 is correct it should be from around 1982.
