I seem to remember a fretless one the same colour being sold on ebay or on the forum in the past.

This one looks beautiful

I am watching this bass like a hawk. If I'm lucky it will be the first member of my one-day large Alembic family!

One question: what effect would the series/parallel switch have?

I think that the owner has the bass and treble boost/cut switches of the Europa electronics confused with series/parallel and coil split, since Alembic pickups can't be used as split-coil pickups to begin with.

Very nice!!!  And yes, the owner doesn't have a clear understanding of the controls.
