I am selling my Stanley Clarke Deluxe Bass. I purchased this bass new in December 2007 from Miami Vintage Guitar. It still appears on their website and on gbase. I paid $6,200. Options include Cocobolo top and back, vermillion core, side red LED's, abalone ovals and continuous wood backplates. Comes with original case, and all original Alembic paperwork (unfilled out). I'll include a set of new Alembic strings I purchased with the bass. I'm 51 years old and bought this as as Christmas gift for myself. I played it once at church and that was it. It has never left my house since. I mainly play my Series II five string. The bass is perfect in every way. Local pickup and inspection is fine. I'm selling it for $5,200 + shipping. Payment by certified funds or Paypal if you want to pay their fees. The bass is truly beautiful, I just don't play it. Please ask any questions. Thank you.

Donald,
Beautiful SC. I see your bass just went to eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/Alembic-Stanley-Clarke-Signature-Deluxe-w-LEDs-MINT_W0QQitemZ260261961981QQihZ016QQcategoryZ4713QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem). Good luck with the sale. Hope that it can stay in the community. I would like to get a short scale but can only do a trade at this time and don't have that Fodera V you are looking for.
Best,
Art

Art:
It is a great bass. I only play fives these days. I hope it sells but if not, I'll keep it. What would you have to trade? Have any fives or Series basses? Best, Don
-
Don,
I'll bet it is. I have no five string basses of value as I prefer fours. Not sure that I can part with my Series or my Series like Hyak (almost mint for a 79) but if you think we should or would like to discuss offline let me know.
Best, Art
