Borders had it earlier this summer on the cut-out shelf for $4. Must reading for Alembic freaks, even if you're not a Deadhead.

I got it when it came out. Came with an autographed endpaper and an interesting CD of dead rarities with introductions by Phil.

Last week a co-worker dropped it on my desk as a gift.
(edited to remove a misunderstanding)
I'm up to ~page 250 currently.
It's a very good book in my opinion

If you want this book, you should buy it from this guy, not Borders. I didn't want to be rude by suggesting otherwise, but I've been informed that I was.

If you find it locally, go for it (that will save $5+ shipping). It's a good book.
I just bought extra's when I found it for $5 at 1/2 price books here in Austin.

I had my copy autographed by Phil last year at the book-signing...Good read...

I've given two away to friends and have one left.

This is really a great book for all musicians, he gets into describing the interplay among the band and with the audience in a way I thought nobody knew about. I read this when I was a 'mere' guitar player and one night I decided I would Phil-Leshize the crowd by taking them on a musical journey in a Sweet Home Alabama solo. It was the first time in 35 years of playing that people were hollering and clapping for any solo I'd ever played. It was cool that I set out to blow their minds and lo!
