Title: 1997 5 string Sereis II open to trade
Post by: wuuw on August 29, 2007, 05:42:43 AM: Well...I had this posted on ebay, but still really hope for a trade... basically its a 5 string 34 scale, cocobolo top/back, there are some of the pictures under here

I brought it off Twin Town Guitar about 3 month back, but its way too heavy for me, so I am looking for a 34 scale 4 string or shorter scale 5 string (I would prefer SC body, which I feel more comfortable...) Open to other suggestion as well, really looking for a lighter weight Alembic or Fodera (I am a sucker to both this two...) Also, this does come with a new condition Alembic ordered case and a new DS-5R power supply also all the cables.
The only flaw is the little crack around the 24 fret, which caused buzz around the 22 and 24 fret on the 3rd and 4th string. The buzz is only on that area, and I did contact Mica for quot, seems like filling up the crack and redress couple of the frets around that area should be about 200 USD. Please take that into consideration...The whole thing plays beautifully, I just really need something that I could play stand up for 2,3 hours...
