Title: Filters on non-Series Guitars
Post by: jalevinemd on April 19, 2009, 01:34:30 PM
I'm having a brain cramp. Are the filters on the Skylark, Further and Tribute guitars the same Low-Pass filters on the Series instruments or something else?

They seem to be to me, but it wouldn't surprise me if there was some difference.

That's what I figured. I picked up a Moog MF-101 low pass filter and was curious if it would allow me to get some of the same tonal manipulations out of my non-Alembic guitars. Seems to function similarly. Need to experiment more.

Jonathan:

Get an SF-2.  Series II electronics (plus) in a box that works on anything.
