I have a custom peiced bass that has three alembic pickups in it. Here is what I know.
It's approx a 72 Fender Jazz Neck, No SN on butt of the neck, but has set up guy's stamp J. Torres
It's a walnut body
BadAss II Bridge
3 Alembic Pickups.
From what I've seen it has really good parts and seems to be a solid bass, but from what I gather, someone with much more skill than me should be playing this thing. I wouldn't mind owning a nice Warwick. If anyone can advise me what something like this a players bass would be worth, I would greatly appreciate it. Also if anyone is interested in all or part of this axe for a fair price, I'd be interested in a sale or trade. (http://club.alembic.com/Images/395/73361.jpg)

Sounds like a nice combination.
...some detailed pics would help to drum up interest.
Searching the completed auctions on ebay (for each of the components) might help to give you a ballpark value.

For what it's worth, I have a '73, black block neck Jazz, and it is also stamped J. Torres. I bought mine in 2002 for about $1350 from Gruhn Guitars in Nashville. It had the original pickups, one of which still needs to be rewound, as well as the bridge, tuners, pots, etc. I ended up having it refretted professionally (it really needed it) and dropped a Badass II on it as well as a J-Retro Preamp and Seymour Duncan pickups. It also has replacement tuners (one of them was loose - I replaced them with direct fit Schallers). I still have all the original parts should I want to return it to stock.
As it is modified, my guess is you could probably get about a grand or so for it due to the mods, but I could be wrong. If you part it out you might get a bit more. Best of luck with the trade and/or sale.

Close-up pics of the Alembic parts (pickups etc...)would be helpful including Alembic internal parts if applicable,

I'll get some better picks of the entire bass tomorrow. Thanks for the feedback thus far!(http://club.alembic.com/Images/395/73431.jpg)
