I have a vintage spoiler 5 string and I've never really used it enough to warrant having the 5 strings. If anyone could help find one or have anything they'd be willing to trade, I would love to find someone to trade for a vintage Rickenbacker or a 4 string Alembic. For an Alembic, i would prefer to find one with a dark color, as I'm not a big fan of the maple look. I don't have what you're looking for as a trade, but you can post or email me a price if you want to sell it straight up.  Looking at Ric prices on eBay, you should be in the ballpark with a fair value.

- Early 5 String Model
- 32 scale
- Highly Figured Walnut Top
- Mahogany Body
- 3-Piece Maple neck
- Perfect Ebony Fingerboard
- Pickup Selector
- Professionally set up to play fast and low
- New DR High Beams
 
Excellent condition, does not show it's age whatsoever. Has a rich, sweet Low B string. With it's super close string spacing, it makes it very fast. Thin, fast neck, very speedy bass all in all. Housed in a non-smoking environment.

Go, Ray!  I'm partial to purpleheart in the neck or I would have made an offer.  I would just convert it to EADGC anyway.

the fiver now lives in CT. . on a note of interest , it was shipped express mail and arrived over  night perfectly, for less money than parcel  post or priority.
