Post by: pickartist on June 30, 2010, 04:00:34 AM
If you are looking at this you know what this fine instrument is about.    Two single coil pickups with a "dummy" hum canceller pickup in the middle.  Five pin jack and standard ? inch jack.  Electronics in perfect working order. Superb book matched bird's eye maple top and  back, walnut core.  Five piece neck through body construction.  Seven ply scarfjoint/headstock.                                             All original parts except the nut and one pot.  You do not need a fret job on this one the action is very low, no buzzing or choking.    Near mint condition, a 9.5.   Serial# 76 437.  Soft case included. Asking $3300;negotiable. More pics on demand.

Looks very similar in style to this guitar played by Michael Hampton although  you can't see the pointy bit at the bottom of the guitar due to his sleeves. Also it's a good example of the overdriven tone this guitar can achieve.
All the best with the sale.

Thanks jazzyvee,I know Kazumi Watanabe used one some years ago.I've always loved the  funky tones in his playing.
I'll miss this guitar a heck of a lot.But the funds will allow me to purchase equiptment to expand my employment possibilities. So I hope to be able to get a replacement in the not too distant future.
