After much thought I've decided to sell my Beautiful 6-string Europa. If I didn't also own an Alembic Orion 5-string fretless I don't know that i could part with this one. The Europa is beautiful, but not mint/perfect. It has it's share of very minor dings (hard to photograph) not an issue, but does have some nicks on the lower horn that are noticable, and a couple of blemsihes at the top of the neck on the backside. Even so, from a foot away nothing is significant - what is significant is that there is virtually NO Fretwear, the fretboard is perfect, the neck relief and setup is great, and the bass playes So Well - everywhere from top to bottom. No issues with electronics, no cracks, no repairs, i just installed a fresh set of Alembic strings. The sound and feel of this bass is 2nd to none. Overall, one of the finest instruments i've played... I'd rather find it a home thru the Alembic club first, before considering E-Bay. I can supply additional pictures if you like No HSC but can be shipped with a gig bag and lots of careful packaging.

Not under my watch! I have two attack cats that guard and protect my basses, the female Nika pictured here is showing her displeasure with my decision to sell this bass.
She loves to sit on the speaker cab when I'm playing...
The real answer is I don't know who or what caused this damage, a teething child maybe? the bass was in this condition when i bought it -

Appears to be an exceptionally nice fingerboard!

The fretboard is really nice, the bass plays SO WELL, and sounds fantastic. The B string on this one is extra special...
I'm open to offers or even possible trade for a 5 string Europa?!

Anyone have any interest?

Let me say, whoever buys this bass, you are in for a treat! The 11 lam neck is so strong and powerful, you really feel it all through your body. Mine is a 34 scale, and the low B string is super clean and supportive - something I thought only a 35 scale would give. Bruce, your bass has a very pretty fingerboard that makes it really stand out. Also, the bite marks on the lower horn can be filled in with some superglue to stop the potential of any cracks forming, and it would look better all smoothed out. Good luck in the sale.
