Not sure I'm ready to part with this bass yet, but I'm kinda thinking it's time for this bass to find a new owner.
#80-1504. Most of you know this bass. Trades I'd consider would be a Brown bass or a Wal MkII 5 string.

From what I've been told, the Kahler was installed by Valley Arts Guitar.

Ooh. Beautiful bass. Seems to have a lovely patina even via photo.
Bet she sounds like a million bux!
-
Thanks, Eiji.

It does sound like a million! The Kahler gives this bass a boat load of sustain, and the resonance of the strings is amazing. It's actually fairly loud unplugged. It's also pretty lightweight. I haven't officially weighed it yet, but it feels lighter than my 78 Pbass (9.5 lbs).
As for neck widths, it's the standard SII measurements:
Nut width 1.750
24th fret width 2.250
It does have red LEDs, BTW.

Thanks, Dan.

That's the bass from the consignment store in Texas, right?
-
Nope. Bought it from a store in CA a few years ago.
-
Maybe I'm confused. In any case, best of luck with the deal.

An S2 with a WIGGLE STICK ! ! Just when you think you've seen everything . . . . best of luck.
