Title: Anyone willing to trade an epic 4 fretless for a fretted?

I'd like a neckthrough fretless Alembic, but I've had a hell of a time hunting around for one and I'm not willing to have anyone hack mine up to convert it into a fretless.

Hi Bill; welcome to the board.  Pretty much every Epic I've seen has a set neck rather than a neck through.  So if you're looking for a fretless Epic, it's pretty much going to be a set neck.
 
I feel the same as you; I think, generally, trading your fretted for a fretless is preferable to pulling the frets on an Alembic.  You might also consider purchasing a fretless and selling the fretted if you can't find someone willing to trade.  If you watch this board regularly, someone at some point will probably be selling a fretless.
