Hey, Folks!
Must part with my F-1X. I'm the second owner and she's served me well. I just un-racked her and double-checked all features to make sure they work as advertised. They do. Two small things:
1) The rack ears are (very) minutely bent but this never affected rack installation or case integrity. Never noticed until now.
2) Aside from what you might expect as far as a few rack scratches, there are two small rust spots on the top case from the previous owner (No, I've never seen rust on a piece of rack gear, either!).
Will post pics later today. Want to stress she works and sounds great and if you live in the SF Bay Area you can put her through her paces through my rig if you want.
Asking $430 to club members and can deliver to Bay Area; otherwise you pay shipping. Thanks for looking.

Just curious. I mainly play through either a GK Microbass MB150 amp or through a Sans-a-amp preamp to our board at church. Also at church, I use he GK w/ a 10-in. speaker as a monitor.
What would be the advantage w/ the F-1X with this setup? I know it would be killer w/ a power amp.
And, since it has a balanced output on the front, I could use it direct. But if I used this output on the front, could I also use the full range output on the back at the same time to my GK amp?

Yes , Your GK amp will have a few ways to route with the F1-X.
Both units are excellent in that regard

Hey, Stephen!
When I was checking to make sure everything works, I ran the front panel DI, rear panel full range, high out and low outs into my Roland VS2000CD unit simultaneously to make sure everything was A-OK. The routing flexibility of this unit is awesome, like a Swiss Army knife. And the front panel DI can be either post- or pre-EQ (in the latter position it's the straight sound from your bass w/o any coloration or frequency boost).
And if you periodically exercise all the jacks per several threads here in the club, the unit is dead quiet. Trust me, I'm only selling this unit out of necessity!

Sadly, circumstances dictate an immediate sale so for the next 24 hrs the F-1X will be available to Alembic Club members for $400, then for an appreciably higher price on craigslist.

OK. New member here who has secured spousal permission for immediate purchase! Not sure how stuff works here, but I have extensive buying/selling history at TB, and a Paypal account. Let me know how you want to proceed, and we can go from there. Thanks!

@ mindwell.....good woman there! (sidenote: you may have to return the favor---I kinda sense it coming, bro)
Regardless, you'll love it! (the preamp, perhaps not the other...lol)

Sam, many thanks! I've been lurking here for quite a while, and am excited to bring Alembic sounds into my tonal palette. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Sale pending!

Payment sent! It was a real pleasure getting to talk to you, Sam.
-
Thanks, Chris. Likewise! Have fun with her!

Sam, she sounds as good as she looks. Arrived without mishap, though it *did* take me a while to remember that unless one or more tone knobs are turned up, no volume. Once I got that figured out, sounded great. Thanks again!
