Title: For Sale 1977 Series 1 Short Scale + F-2B + F-1X + SF-2 + DS-5R [SOLD]

This is a beautiful bass at present located in Australia. I bought it from Manfred (a long time member here). When he had bought it he showed it off here:

The bass is just as gorgeous today, but it is no longer tuned to be a tenor. It just has normal tuning. now.

The bass has no strap, but it comes complete with a brand new Alembic case, a virtually unused small Alembic power supply from 1994 (small black box), and a brand new Alembic 20 foot cord for series basses.
 
Photos to follow shortly and a quote to ship the bass to the USA. My asking price is USD5,900, but will consider offers near enough. You can pay me wire transfer or Paypal if your limit allows.

I could have a moment of weakness if there were no heavy customs and excise duty and vat to pay on top of the price.

That's my 1975 long scale fretless small standard.  
I live in Melbourne. We could do the trade in Albury on the border or even Canberra.  
By the way that's me who put up an offer on the DS 5R yesterday on eBay.
